Andropol S.A. has been recognized as the leader in the production of military fabrics for the Polish army, police and foreign military importers.
Our fabrics come in a wide variety of raw materials, types of weave and surface mass. We add different, highly specialized finishes, starting from making the fabrics water-resistant, through oil-proof to flame retardant. Due to the process of sanforization, our products feature very low shrinkage parameters after the wash – no more than 2%.
Unquestionable assets of these fabrics are good performance standards, high tear and breakage resistance. Disperse and vat dyes used in the process of dying ensure high resistance to light, washing, and sweat, ironing wet and dry abrasion. Fabrics designed for production of battledress are dyed or printed with the application of dyestuff that enables reaching the level of remission high enough to protect soldiers – in conditions of limited visibility and when night-vision device is used - against being spotted, and in consequence against an attack.
Andropol SA is a company, which products are considered the best in their category nationwide popular abroad as well. A guarantee of high quality production, its stability and repeatability is an integrated system of quality management and environmental management according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Certificate AQAP 2110 (issued in the name of Polish National Institute for Quality Assurance at NATO) confirms that researches and production processes assure complying with rapidly changing market requirements as well as achieving highest quality standards.
NEW PRODUCST
Hydrophilic and hydrophobic finish technology - The only fabric with a hydrophilic finish on one side and a hydrophobic finish on the other side to perform three functions:
Hydrophilic finish inside of the fabric
Moisture accumulated in the form of sweat is quickly absorbed by the fabric touching the body and distributed over a large area. Drops of sweat in just 2 seconds are absorbed by the fabric and distributed over the area a few times bigger than the area of a drop. A fabric without a hydrophilic finish needs over 30 seconds to absorb one drop of sweat. Human body heat makes sweat evaporate from the clothing fast provided it has been distributed over a large area. Your skin remains dry despite intensive physical effort and increased temperature.
Hydrophobic finish outside of the fabric
The outside of the fabric has a hydrophobic finish. It protects against precipitation, water and liquids. Liquids bead up and do not moisten the fabric as they are not absorbed and do not soak through. The fabric always remains dry both on the inside and the outside.
Vapour permeability
The product is permeable (similarly to Gore-tex membrane fabrics); it is a breathing fabric. Sweat from the skin is easily transported from the inside to the outside. The difference in temperature and relative humidity between the human body and the fabric as well as between the fabric and external conditions is a decisive factor.
